Why Nubians? Well, for one, who can resist those ears! Nubians are a large, gentle breed and are very popular Dairy goats throughout the world. They are known for producing high quality, high butterfat milk. I find the nubians a very peaceful and pleasant breed to keep. I have heard others say they can be quite vocal at times, but I honestly, have not experienced this. Our does were wonderfully tolerant of children and enjoy the company of humans without being pushy. Feeding time can get a little crowded, however. :) Since I was diagnosed with leukemia, we decided to thin the herd and only raise the Myotonic goats. I still love Nubians and may raise them again someday. So I will leave this page up. Below you will see some of my old favorites. They will be greatly missed.

Truffles has very nice confirmation, beautiful ears, and
is a good strong doe. She has a very nice udder with good
rear attachment and is a good producer. She is a friendly
and fun doe to have around. |
Nova is one of the first goats to run up and say "Hi"
when someone enters the barn. She has a nice long neck and
good legs. |
Anne is showing lots of potential even at a young age.
She is a strong and solid doeling with a wide front end and
very feminine head.
